Landon and Brayden Playing

Landon, I think is the only one that can get Brayden to laugh the hardest. Brayden sure loves his bigger brother and is always excited when he is home. Otherwise, I can always find Brayden in Landons room or over by the wii pulling all of Landons games out. The minute that Landon walks in the door, his legs start kicking and a cute little squeal comes out of his mouth of excitement.

Family Pictures

So my good friend, Montay, was willing to take some family pictures of our family. She did a fabulous job. You do need to look at the first picture at the water. Look at Landon's and Brayden's face. It was so funny.

Summer Camping Trip

We went camping with our friends the Dixons. This was Braydens first camping adventure. It was so much fun. We went near Preston. We took the 4-wheelers and rode to the peak of the mountain and down to the Paris ice caves and down to the North end of Bear Lake for lunch. We also rode clear over to Logan Canyon. Needless to say we were covered in dirt after every exertion. It was worth it though. :)

Landon Painting the House

So Jeff and I have wanted to paint the house ever since we moved in. We found two colors that may be a possibility....tan or an olive green color. It looks better then what it sounds. To make things a little fun we asked Landon if he wanted to do some painting. We went to the side of the house to his bedroom window and said he could paint what ever he wanted. It was kind of funny, he didn't know if we were serious or not. Then when dad started to paint small spot next to the window for samples then Landon was a little more at ease. As you can see he signed his name. I think he was a little proud of it.

If you look a little closer you can see that Landon has a root beer float bar in one hand and the paint brush in the other. What a good multi-tasker. :)

Last Moments with Bruiser

After having Brayden I was focused on my precious little boy and that meant that the dog was on the back burner. I wasn't able to play fetch with him and do as much as I used to. Feeling bad for our dog and wanting to plant a garden this summer we figured that it would be best to find a better home for Bruiser. We put him in the paper and after filtering through a couple of prospects we found a 15 year old boy who had been wanting a dog just like Bruiser. His mom was telling me how he had been praying for a dog like this and he had been searching for a while. How can you say no to that!?! I couldn't send him away not having his prayer being answered and plus he was great with the dog. So...Bruiser is gone.

Talking about being gone, we also sold the Sequoia. Needless to say, we sold it the day after we gave Bruiser away. It was a sad couple of days. That is one reason why I hate being an adult. Some days I wish I could be a kid again and just play all day.

Flowers in my yard

This spring I have had fun finding new things in my yard. This flower is a bulb (crocas, I don't think I spelled it right) I have it in a white flower too. Now I have tulips and peonies coming up around my yard. I am so excited.

Easter

I have been talking to a lot of people and they have mentioned all the fun things they did for Easter. I must be a very boring mom. I didn't do a dang thing. It was Braydens first Easter and I still didn't do anything; no new outfit, no easter basket, not even a fun meal. My thougt was that we are tight with money and Brayden doesn't care and I was too lazy to make a big meal. So we found what we had on hand and made a delux salad. Salad of all things. Luckily my sister in law saved the day by inviting us to go to Shashone Falls and she shared her Easter candy with us in pitty. We had a good time and the falls were amazing.

It was a good thing that Landon was able to spend time with us before Easter. He decorated our front and back windows with his artistic ability. We had window chalk and thought it would be fun to decorate our windows. Landon had a lot of fun and even signed the window like a true artist.

Let me tell you that if you ever decide to use window chalk...be prepared to use some elbow grease to get it off. I think there are specks still on the window. If anyone has great ways of getting it off, I might think of doing the art thing again. It was fun.
