Landon and Brayden Playing

Landon, I think is the only one that can get Brayden to laugh the hardest. Brayden sure loves his bigger brother and is always excited when he is home. Otherwise, I can always find Brayden in Landons room or over by the wii pulling all of Landons games out. The minute that Landon walks in the door, his legs start kicking and a cute little squeal comes out of his mouth of excitement.

Family Pictures

So my good friend, Montay, was willing to take some family pictures of our family. She did a fabulous job. You do need to look at the first picture at the water. Look at Landon's and Brayden's face. It was so funny.

Summer Camping Trip

We went camping with our friends the Dixons. This was Braydens first camping adventure. It was so much fun. We went near Preston. We took the 4-wheelers and rode to the peak of the mountain and down to the Paris ice caves and down to the North end of Bear Lake for lunch. We also rode clear over to Logan Canyon. Needless to say we were covered in dirt after every exertion. It was worth it though. :)

Landon Painting the House

So Jeff and I have wanted to paint the house ever since we moved in. We found two colors that may be a possibility....tan or an olive green color. It looks better then what it sounds. To make things a little fun we asked Landon if he wanted to do some painting. We went to the side of the house to his bedroom window and said he could paint what ever he wanted. It was kind of funny, he didn't know if we were serious or not. Then when dad started to paint small spot next to the window for samples then Landon was a little more at ease. As you can see he signed his name. I think he was a little proud of it.

If you look a little closer you can see that Landon has a root beer float bar in one hand and the paint brush in the other. What a good multi-tasker. :)

Last Moments with Bruiser

After having Brayden I was focused on my precious little boy and that meant that the dog was on the back burner. I wasn't able to play fetch with him and do as much as I used to. Feeling bad for our dog and wanting to plant a garden this summer we figured that it would be best to find a better home for Bruiser. We put him in the paper and after filtering through a couple of prospects we found a 15 year old boy who had been wanting a dog just like Bruiser. His mom was telling me how he had been praying for a dog like this and he had been searching for a while. How can you say no to that!?! I couldn't send him away not having his prayer being answered and plus he was great with the dog. So...Bruiser is gone.

Talking about being gone, we also sold the Sequoia. Needless to say, we sold it the day after we gave Bruiser away. It was a sad couple of days. That is one reason why I hate being an adult. Some days I wish I could be a kid again and just play all day.

Flowers in my yard

This spring I have had fun finding new things in my yard. This flower is a bulb (crocas, I don't think I spelled it right) I have it in a white flower too. Now I have tulips and peonies coming up around my yard. I am so excited.

Easter

I have been talking to a lot of people and they have mentioned all the fun things they did for Easter. I must be a very boring mom. I didn't do a dang thing. It was Braydens first Easter and I still didn't do anything; no new outfit, no easter basket, not even a fun meal. My thougt was that we are tight with money and Brayden doesn't care and I was too lazy to make a big meal. So we found what we had on hand and made a delux salad. Salad of all things. Luckily my sister in law saved the day by inviting us to go to Shashone Falls and she shared her Easter candy with us in pitty. We had a good time and the falls were amazing.

It was a good thing that Landon was able to spend time with us before Easter. He decorated our front and back windows with his artistic ability. We had window chalk and thought it would be fun to decorate our windows. Landon had a lot of fun and even signed the window like a true artist.

Let me tell you that if you ever decide to use window chalk...be prepared to use some elbow grease to get it off. I think there are specks still on the window. If anyone has great ways of getting it off, I might think of doing the art thing again. It was fun.

A busy couple of weeks!!!

OK, I think I am the worlds best procrastinator. It is something that I am not very proud about. It seems that I can never make it on time for anything and it is my own fault. I thought that having a 5 month old (I can't believe how fast he is growing up) that it gives me a good excuse until......I was watching John & Kate plus 8 and how they make it early or on time for most of their events. If you are not familiar with this show, it is a couple that has a set of twin girls then two years later...has a batch of six kids making the total of kids to be 8. They are so creative with everything they do as a family, upbeat pretty much all the time, and on time.

I have so many things that I need to update. I just realized that hardly anyone in my family has seen my house we moved into last Oct. so hopefully I can get some pictures posted. Our lovely computer has been giving us fits making it literally 2 hrs just to do the last two posts.

Our toilet overflowed in our bathroom about a week ago. It was a fluke thing that no one had control over. I am laughing about it now. Well, lets just put it this way...I can get rid of the carpet earlier than planned and put new flooring in. YES!!!!! I hate the fact that there is carpet in my bathrooms, who ever thought it was a good idea with boys in the world. I do love my boys but lets be honest here. It just isn't logical.

Landon was able to do something that made Jeff and I just laugh. Brayden was fussy one night while I was making dinner. So, being the good brother that he is, he started to play with Brayden. Brayden was in the swing so Landon had this great idea of tickling his feet. Brayden started giggling and the house was filled with laughter. It was so darn cute. I am trying to down load the video we have of it so cross your fingers it is one you will want to see.

Well, I think that is enough of my babbling...so I hope you all have a fabulous day.

Landon teasing Brayden

From the time Brayden was born Landon has always been a great big brother. He has an amazing gift with kids and when they are fussy he has a way of calming them down. He loves being around babies and plays with them so well. Brayden loves his older brother and here you can tell. Brayden was wining a little while I was making dinner. Landon was so helpful by jumping in and teasing him by tickling his feet.

Day out swimming

This was Braydens first time to go swimming. The water was not the warmest and surprisingly it didn't seem to bother him. He just kicked back and relaxed.

Landon was showing off his mad skills on the diving board. He is the fish in this family. Jeff and I both took turns going off the diving board with Landon but they are not worthy of sharing with others. :)

Trip to Texas

Brayden and I made a long trip to FortWorth TX to visit my brother and his family. We stopped in Colorado Springs to visit my sister as well. Needless to say that it was a very long trip. It took us about 28 hours between the two days with stops to give us a break every so often. The drive was worth it. :)

Here we are at the Forth Worth Zoo.

Here we are at the Dallas TX Temple with Brian, Jodie, Paul, and Mckenzie.

My nephew, Paul, was smelling all the flowers around the temple. He is so cute.

Brayden

Don't you just love his chubby cheeks.

Brayden is a true boy. He loves to be naked. He was bundled up but he kept kicking the blanket off.

The Boys

Landon is a GREAT basketball player. In his second game he made 5 baskets. He was so proud. :)

After the game he invited his friend Cole over to play. As you can tell they are pretty focused!!! We also went and saw Mall Cop. Landon and Cole were more entertaining then watching the movie. I think they were the loudest too.

Isn't he cute. He is 3 months already.

Happy New Year!!! Ok, I am not on top of the game of getting cards out for Christmas so here is a New Year letter instead. We have had a great previous year with a lot of New in our lives. We got a new dog names Bruiser (a mix of a yellow lab and German Shepard), a new house (we moved to Twin Falls) in July, and the best of all a new baby boy.

Jeff is working hard for Quales Electronics. He is installing home audio and home theatre systems which he has a love for. He has put our home as a good experiment to get familiar with systems he works with. One thing he is most excited about is that living in Twin means better weather for year round golf. He also loves playing basketball with our ward.

Landon is a joy in our family. He played soccer this last fall and now is playing basketball, his two favorite sports. All of his other free time he thrives on playing the wii or any type of video game in that case. Landon loves being a big brother to Brayden and does a great job. Landon is keeping his parents on their toes with all the funning one liners he gets from movies. He loves Napoleon Dynamite and Pink Panther. He is constantly making us laugh.

Brayden was born on Oct. 27, 2008. He looks just like his dad. He is just finding his hands and vocal cords. He keeps us laughing with his facial expressions and high pitched squeals. Brayden is now clinching his fists as if he were boxing. Brayden is the cutest baby as you can see.

Bruiser is full of energy and probably misses the farm at my parents house. He had a ton of room to run and now he is stuck in a back yard. He loves to play fetch. Bruiser will drop the ball on the back door as a hint that he wants to play.

As for me I quit my job to be a full time mom. I am simply loving it. I love my new home and I can’t wait to get to the yard to do my own design.

Hello. Here is my lovely family. Brayden will be coming soon. This is when we lived in Thayne, WY. This is taken in our back yard that we were care taking.
